There is so much beauty in finding that we are flawed. That we make mistakes. That we are not perfect by any means. And it makes our hope in God so much greater. Falling down is bringing me joy because I know His hand is outstretched to lift me right back up. Aren’t we all like children in this way? And what greater feeling than being a child with a Father as great as He.

So I do not fret, I do not worry, but I have joy and confidence in the greatest being of all time reigning over my life.

"Let me tell you this on Valentine’s day: You have no business feeling empty or incomplete. The lack of chocolates, roses, candy hearts, and pretty cards is not an indication of lessened worth. You were born complete; whole. Nobody completes you. You’re not missing any part of you, so stop feeling that way. Enjoy the place that you’re in. Thrive in every faculty and opportunity that you’re presented with today. You’re young. Be young. Be more. Happy Valentine’s Day."

"We mistake sex for romance. Guys are taught that pushing a girl up against a wall is romance. Sex is easy; you can do it with anyone, yourself, with batteries. Romance is when someone you like walks into a room and they take your breath away. Romance is when two people are dancing and they fit together perfectly. Romance is when two people are walking next to each other and all of a sudden they find themselves holding hands, and they don’t know how that happened."

"I missed you every hour. And you know what the worst part was? It caught me completely by surprise. I’d catch myself just walking around to find you, not for any reason, just out of habit, because I’d seen something that I wanted to tell you about or because I wanted to hear your voice. And then I’d realize that you weren’t there anymore, and every time, every single time, it was like having the wind knocked out of me."
